Soror Kate ART VT asked:

There are a lot of people answering in here, and the answers are slow in coming over in Tech>handhelds. I’m trying to music on my Palm Tungsten, and it’s not working for me. Any chance, even though this is in the wrong category, that anyone here knows? You all are the best anyway!
Relevant because I’m cursing God that the one I bought doesn’t work… I asked here b/c I’m a regular here and thought someone might answer because it’s me. Nobody’s answering at all in the other category.

Isn’t the GPS much more efficient and accurate?! Do you think it will replace VOR/DME someday?

The Thrashmeister asked:

Hi guys. I’m doing a project for geometry in which I have to survey a whole bunch of high school students. Here’s the question:

Which mainstream seventh generation video game console do high school students prefer?

The choices are: Wii, xBox 360, or PlayStation 3. You may only choose ONE, and it has to be one of those choices. (no handhelds)

Also state whether you’re a boy or a girl, and whether or not you consider yourself to be a “gamer.” (i.e. if you play video games regularly)

Please do not vote if you are not in high school.

Thanks much.
I will thumbs up all answers to let myself know that I’ve recorded them.

kooliospt asked:

Hopefully you guys can help me out. I am currently in college on my freshman year majoring in electrical engineering, but I’m not sure if I should be majoring in that. I would like to work with electronic gadgets from mp3 players, handhelds consoles, tvs, game consoles to computers. I’m more of a hardware guy. I like to tinker around with stuff and also building it. I simply love and want to be on the latest on technology.

Can you honestly say that this decade has no doubt been the greatest decade for video games?

Roxel asked:

I certainly can. While many people complain about today’s music and movies, video games on the other hand have been taken a step future in technology this decade. The PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube consoles were big releases that included the following…

-Compatibility DVD format discs.

-Produced clear, sharp graphics that nobody ever saw out of video games before.

-Introduced the new online gaming experiences to consoles.

-Provided a huge outbreak of new francises of 1st person shooter games and action adventure games (Gears of War, God of War, Halo).

-Not to mention, the other francises that stayed popular a grew throughout this decade (Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy).

Now the PS3, Xbox 360, and Ninentdo Wii provide all of the following to video games…

-An even better and more organized experience of online gaming.

-Downloadable content of certain games and videos.

-Compatibility to older generation games, DVDs, and Blu rays dics.

-Wireless controllers.

-The application of importing your own music on your console.

Lets also don’t forget about how much better handhelds have improved in control and graphic wise. Even cell phones contain some decent video games today.

What are your thoughts about this decade in video gaming?
Lp182, I agree with you. The 2D to 3D gaming was quite a jump. You have to at least admit though that this was a good decade for video gaming. Anyway, thanks for the answer.
