Gina G asked:

Hi Guys,
I’m on a tight budget this year but really want to buy my dad a good gift for the Holidays. He needs a basic GPS that can just do basic routes around SoCal and some NorCal. I just want something reliable and easy to use. I also need to keep the cost low.

Any tips and advice would be really appreciated.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks,
Gina

What is the difference between AGPS and GPS in mobiles?

jupchinbom asked:

I’ve been looking at the HTC Touch Diamond and IPhone 3G and I noticed that IPhone 3G only has AGPS while Diamond has both.
I did a search and found out that AGPS is assisted by cellular towers and etc to pinpoint location more precisely.

I’m curious as to whether will using AGPS and GPS incur charges from my network provider?

Please help me decide: PSP or PS3?

dawn™ Quixote asked:

please help. I really can’t think well on this. I only had a PS1 and have so many games on it.

PSP slim- I think a handheld would be great and I could play music and store images too. the slim model has added many cool features also like you can have the TV as monitor. I feel there’d be more add ons. There are few good games as of now but the ones I’m looking forward to are yet to come so I’m not too worried about the selection of games. I’ve heard you can also play PS1 games here via emulator? please confirm this coz it’s gonna be a big factor for me.

PS3- If I chose these I’d probably wait several months more in time with the release of the great games I’m expecting much. And I just knew you can play PS1 and 2 games here.. and even DVD and music files? I’m not too worried about the price yet since there’ll probably be a price drop right? I could’ve easily decided on this but since it’s not a handheld I’m hesitating. so can you tell me also if you think handhelds are that great?
