I’ve decided to get one of the old Nintendo systems (pre-Wii) because they are far more cheap than the new Nintendo system and not as hard to play and win at (I’m an old gamer)

*** I’m aware of PC emulators, but I want something tangible and I can plug into the TV like the old days of my youth

*** I’m not interested in the old NES system. I grew up on it, but I don’t want something that dated. Been there, done that.

So out of these systems listed, and basing the decision on the games and system, what should I buy? Give reasons if possible. And please, no flaming about how Playstation I is so great and Nintendo ***** in comparison. Never a fan of the PS1 yet PS2 was great for it’s time.

I am considering getting a wii for my birthday or just getting another ds game, I will only get it if they have RPG games that are sort of like the ones that they make for handhelds, one that I really liked for the game cube was pokemon XD. I really like games such as the pokemon RPGs, megaman battle network, zelda phantom hourglass.

And they have to not have violence in them, so they have to be rated E, I was considering twilight princess, but that is rated T so I am not sure if my parents would buy me it

Ive never played Colosseum but I foudn a cheap used copy of this game and bought it since I am a very huge fan of the handheld series.

So is this just like the handhelds?

Can I still catch and train pokemon and fight trainers?

I’ve been on Youtube and been hearing Nintendo Fan-Boys ranting how Xbox/PS ***** and Wii rocks. They say that it’s revolutionary because of its motion sensing and how it’s healthy. True it’s revolutionary with its almost completely motion sensing controllers, but it’s not that healthy. Swinging your arms around burns some calories, BUT THAT’S JUST IT! You want to stay healthy, get outside! Or at least play DDR! “The Wii’s for little kids…”. A nintendo fanboy would usually respond with: “NO! WE ALSO HAVE CALL OF DUTY AND MAFIA WARS!!!!!!” Wrong, you have some games. If I was to play a good shooter game I would definitely NOT be playing it on the Wii!!! The Playstation and Xbox are for ******** games (and regular games too). Plus Nintendo been recycling the frickken same series’s for YEARS!! Mario has about 20 games. Metroid, Super Smash Brothers, Zelda; all’ve been recycled for 15 Years… “BUT VIDEO GAMES ARE ABOUT GAMEPLAY, NOT GRAPHICHS!!!!” Once again, wrong. Partially true though. It is indeed about gameplay, but graphics are needed too. When Street Fighter or Super Mario Brothers came out, people enjoyed it because of the multiplayer and gameplay. But as time progressed, the graphics were becoming old, and new versions were needed. If you guys are obsessed with gamplay and not graphics, then go play one of those arcade games. I’ve had at least 6 different Nintendo Systems (lots that are handhelds). I, personally, am not hating any video game systems; but I feel that some people are not true gamers if there going to be hatin’ on other systems.
