vulpix_grant asked: Been riding since Feb and I LOVE Cruising Interstates and traveling to all the attractions located around Central Florida. But the GPS I use in the Car a Garmin C330 isn’t waterproof, and has a short battery life.
That’s why I’m looking for a GPS that can mount to my bike, is waterproof, and I can swap out batteries from Walmart or something if it dies.
Any suggestions would be apreciated.

GM vehicles all have OnSTAR, which has a GPS tranciever in the electronics package. Is taking over GM the start of the End times, where everybodys car can be tracked by the government. How much longer until we all need to have a “paychip” inserted into our hand.

Carter asked: For example, compared to the Garmin Nuvi series, or something similar. Is it like comparing apples to oranges?
Can some phones be used as car navigation? How good are they at pedestrian navigation?
I’m considering buying a GPS, probably a Garmin Nuvi 750, but if my next cell phone might fulfill the same duties, maybe I won’t.
Thanks for any information or advice!

Im taking out my brother’s 42′ boat this weekend out of Santa Barbara harbor and I need to know some good spots. Looking for Halibut but at this point I’m down for anything. If you have GPS coordinates for any bottom structures, or just a hot spot that has proven itself, I would be INCREDIBLY grateful to you. Any tips would be appreciated, and thanks.
